The Velcro® Compatibility rating is based on fabrics receptiveness to Velcro® after repeated applications and removals. All melded fabrics perform well, however melded polyester fabrics do not wear as well as melded nylon polyester fabrics. Embossed polyester fabrics are not Velcro® Compatible.

The UV Rating index is tested to ISO 105‐B02‐1994. As per testing criteria, classifications of low numerical value indicate poor performance, whilst classifications of higher numerical values indicate favourable performance. As a minimum requirement, all of Melded Products fabrics and carpets are required to achieve a rating of 5 or higher.
