Green Tag® Certified Gold Plus.

Melded Products Group is proud to announce that Front Runner®, Prelude® & Interlude® have been Green Tag® Certified Gold Plus.

Green Tag® is a third party, green building product rating and certification system, underpinned by rigorous scientific and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) processes. Its advanced, robust LCA certification methodology developed exclusively by ecospecifier, is a world first.

The Green Tag® ecolabel rating positions a product within the top end of the green product market enabling manufacturers to be able for the first time to fully communicate the work they have undertaken to improve the ecological and health benefits of their products.

Orbit®, Kencord®, Kensquare®, Starfire® & Exposure® are all currently undergoing Green Tag® Certification.

All of the Melflor branded carpets in the Melded Products Group range have been awarded the Green Label Plus accreditation.

Green Label Plus is a voluntary, industry testing program for carpet and adhesive products that establishes the highest standard for indoor air quality ever set by the carpet industry. Green Label Plus was created to identify carpets and adhesives that are tested by an independent, certified laboratory and meet stringent criteria for low chemical emissions.

Melded Products Group is committed to continuously improving and refining our manufacturing process to ensure that we supply our customers with the most environmentally friendly carpets available.

Melded Products Group is serious about the environment; receiving certification for Environmental Management System ISO14001, the international benchmark for environmental management systems. We are committed to conducting business in a manner that protects the environment in a responsible and practical way, whilst maintaining the highest possible quality standard which is reflected by our Quality Management System ISO9001.

Recycling

Melded Products Group has implemented various recycling programs to ensure that minimal waste finds its way to landfill. All cardboard, paper, metal scraps and plastic are sorted onsite, and sent off site to various recycling facilities to be processed.
Melded Products Group also has a strict zero-landfill policy aimed at eliminating pre-production, manufacturing, and post production waste across all product ranges. All production waste is reprocessed onsite or sent off site to be recycled.
